Zveme vás na debatu s izraelským aktivistou, členem skupiny Anarchisté proti zdi (Anarchists Against the Wall, AATW) a hnutí Bojkot zevnitř (Boycott from Within, BfW). V debatě se zaměří na to, jakým způsobem mohou anarchisté – a izraelští občané obecně – podporovat palestinské hnutí odporu proti okupaci. Dále bude diskutovat o rasistické politické kultuře v Izraeli, čímž by rád přispěl k aktuální debatě o rasismu obecně.
Kobi Snitz je členem skupiny Anarchists Against the Wall už od jejího vzniku v roce 2003. Cílem AATW je podpora nenásilného odporu proti apartheidní zdi a nelegálnímu zabírání palestinské půdy. Aktivisté AATW se účastní pravidelných demonstrací a angažují se v přímých akcích po celém Západním břehu Jordánu. Jejich aktivity jsou vždy koordinovány s místními Palestinci, z jejichž potřeb a přání vycházejí. Kromě AATW je Kobi aktivní v hnutí, které využívá bojkotu jako prostředku, jenž má přimět izraelskou vládu k ukončení okupace Palestiny. Reaguje tak na výzvu palestinské občanské společnosti. Aktivisté Boycott from Within se zaměřují zejména na kulturní bojkot Izraele, skrze nějž informují světovou veřejnost o izraelské politice a kampaních izraelské vlády, které mají zastřít její skutečnou povahu. Staví se tak nejen proti apartheidu a okupaci, ale proti rasismu a všem formám útlaku – jejich cílem je dosažení míru, spravedlnosti a rovnosti.

We would like to invite you to a debate with an Israeli activist, member of the Anarchists Against the Wall (AATW) and Boycott from Within. He will focus on ways in which anarchists – and Israeli citizens in general – can support the Palestinian movement against the occupation. As a contribution to the wider debate about racism (which is especially relevant for us today as Czech Republic is experiencing a rise in anti-Roma hate marches and pogrom attempts), he will also discuss the racist political culture in Israel.
Kobi Snitz is a member of the Anarchists Against the Wall from its beginnings in 2003. Their aim is to support the nonviolent resistance against the apartheid wall and illegal confiscations of Palestinian land. AATW activists join regular demonstrations and take part in direct actions across the West Bank. Their activities are Palestinian-led and stem from the needs of the local Palestinians. Apart from AATW, Kobi is a member of a wider movement that uses boycott as the means of pushing Israeli authorities to end the occupation of Palestine. As a response to a call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions, issued by the Palestinian civil society, BfW activists focus on cultural boycott in particular. Amongst others, this represents a tool for raising awareness among the international public, shedding light on pinkwashing, greenwashing and other marketing campaigns by the Israeli government. BfW thus stands not only against apartheid and occupation, but also against all forms of racism and oppression, with the aim of reaching peace, justice and equality.
