PŘIDEJTE SE K NÁM na V. VELKÉM POCHODU SOLIDARITY S PALESTINOU 
Sejdeme se 12.5. ve 13:00 na Náměstí Míru a připomeneme si nadcházející 76. výročí palestinské NAKBY.
Slovo Nakba, což znamená „katastrofa“, se používá k popisu etnické čistky původního palestinského obyvatelstva, které bylo masakry a terorem sionistických milic vyhnáno z jejich domovů v měsících předcházejících a následujících po vytvoření osadnické kolonie známé jako stát Izrael.
V letech 1947-1949 sionističtí osadníci z Palestiny vyhnali více než 750 000 Palestinců (250 000 do Gazy – 70% obyvatel dnešní Gazy jsou uprchlíci a jejich potomci) a vyhodili do povětří okolo 500 palestinských vesnic, aby se lidé neměli kam vrátit. Následně Izrael palestinským uprchlíkům odepřel právo na návrat. Pokud se někdo vrátit pokusil, byl zastřelen na místě. V letech těsně po Nakbě takto bylo zastřeleno okolo 5000 palestinských uprchlíků. (Benny Morris, Border Wars)
Dodnes mají mnozí Palestinci, stále schované klíče od svých domovů a doufají, že se jednoho dne budou moci vrátit.
Nakba však neskončila v r. 1948 ani 1949. V roce 1967 Izrael vyhnal dalších více než 300 000 Palestinců a začal okupovat zbytek palestinského území, kde dlouhá léta bourá Palestincům domy, zabírá jejich půdu, zasypává jejich studny, staví apartheidní zeď, drží část společnosti pod blokádou, či vytrhává statisíce jejich olivovníků i s kořeny, zatímco pokračuje v rozšiřování nelegálních izraelských osad na palestinském území. Nekončící vyhánění z půdy svých předků Palestinci označují za “ongoing Nakba” – pokračující Nakbu, která v Gaze během posledního půl roku vyvrcholila v genocidu. V Gaze bylo již zavražděno více než 38.600 lidí, včetně více než 15.700 dětí. Stát Izrael se snaží prostřednictvím této genocidy dokončit to, co kolonialisté převážně z východní Evropy započali před více než 76 lety. Zabrat co nejvíce palestinské půdy s co nejméně Palestinci.
Víme, že historie nezačíná ve chvíli, kdy si ji začneme všímat – navzdory tomu, co tvrdí česká média a politici. Odmítáme spoluúčast na jejich systematickém opomínání palestinské historie a identity. Nakba není pouhou kapitolou dějin Palestiny – představuje každodenní realitu milionů Palestinců na celém světě.
Opět společně zaplníme ulice Prahy palestinskými vlajkami a projevíme podporu palestinskému lidu v jejich boji proti kolonialismu a útlaku. Společně budeme požadovat okamžité příměří, ukončení blokády Gazy, zastavení okupace, apartheidu a svobodnou Palestinu, kde bude každému Palestinci a Palestince přiznáno právo na návrat – od řeky k moři.

We will meet on 12 May at 13:00 in Peace Square (nám. Míru) to commemorate the upcoming 76th anniversary of the Palestinian NAKBA.
The word Nakba means “catastrophe,” and is used to describe the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinian population who were driven from their homes by the massacres and terror of Zionist militias in the months leading up to and following the creation of the settler colony known as the State of Israel.
Between 1947 and 1949, Zionist settlers expelled more than 750,000 Palestinians from Palestine (250,000 to Gaza – 70% of today’s Gaza population are refugees and their descendants) and blew up some 500 Palestinian villages so that the people would have nowhere to return to. Subsequently, Israel denied Palestinian refugees the right of return. If anyone tried to return, they were shot on the spot. In the years just after the Nakba, some 5,000 Palestinian refugees were shot in this way (Benny Morris, Border Wars).
To this day, many Palestinians still hold the keys to their homes, hoping that one day they will be able to return.
The Nakba, however, did not end in 1948 or 1949. In 1967, Israel expelled more than 300,000 more Palestinians and began occupying the rest of the Palestinian territory, where for many years it has been demolishing homes of the Palestinians, keeps taking their land, filling their wells with sand, building the apartheid wall, keeping part of their society under blockade, or has uprooted hundreds of thousands of their olive trees, while continuing to expand illegal Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territory. The unending expulsion from their ancestral lands is referred to by Palestinians as the “ongoing Nakba”, which has culminated in genocide in Gaza over the past six months. More than 38,600 people have already been murdered in Gaza, including more than 15,700 children. The State of Israel is trying, through this genocide, to complete what the colonialists, mainly from Eastern Europe, began more than 76 years ago.
We know that history does not begin the moment we start to notice it – despite what the Czech media and politicians claim. We refuse to be complicit in their systematic neglect of Palestinian history and identity. The Nakba is not just a chapter in the history of Palestine – it represents the daily reality of millions of Palestinians around the world. Get the Palestinian land with as least Palestinians possible.
Again together we will fill the streets of Prague with Palestinian flags and show our support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against colonialism and oppression. Together we will demand an immediate ceasefire, an end to the blockade of Gaza, an end to the occupation, apartheid and a free Palestine where every Palestinian and Palestinian will be granted the right of return – from the river to the sea.
